A administração do prefeito Gil Cutrim (PMDB) garantiu, durante reunião com representantes do Sindicato dos Trabalhadores em Educação Pública do Maranhão (Sinproesemma) realizada esta semana, a implantação de novos benefícios para os professores da rede municipal de ensino de São José de Ribamar.
Participaram da reunião – uma das várias que a prefeitura vem promovendo com as categorias trabalhistas do município – os secretários municipais Raul Vitor Menezes (Planejamento, Administração e Finanças), Carla Veras (Educação) e Ribamar Dourado (Articulação Política), além de Júlio Guterres (diretor de comunicação do Sindicato), Ilza Almeida e Arlete Sales, estas duas últimas coordenadoras do núcleo da entidade em São José de Ribamar.
O governo municipal se comprometeu em atender praticamente todas as reivindicações feitas pelos representantes do Sindicato, dentre elas a implantação, já a partir de março, de novas promoções para aqueles que têm direito (novas progressões foram concedidas no início do ano); convocação, nos próximos meses, do restante dos aprovados e parte dos excedentes para o cargo de professor; implantação, a partir de abril, de gratificações para os educadores que trabalham em locais de difícil acesso (inclusive, os próprios sindicalistas foram convidados pelo governo municipal para participar da elaboração do decreto que estabelece o benefício); e concessão, a partir de junho, de novo reajuste salarial de 8% para categoria (em dois anos, a prefeitura concedeu dois reajustes salariais aos professores, sendo um de 15% e outro de 22%).
