O delegado Sebastião Uchoa foi empossado, nesta sexta-feira (1º), no comando da Secretaria de Estado de Justiça e Administração Penitenciária (Sejap).
Ao assumir a Sejap, Uchoa afirmou que a sua gestão trabalhará tendo como base três eixos: segurança, ressocialização de detentos e valorização dos agentes penitenciários.
Para Uchoa, o que será um diferencial é a vivência dele dentro do sistema penitenciário. “A minha experiência vem somar para que dê continuidade no bom trabalho que já vinha sendo feito pela antiga gestão”, destacou.
Sebastião Uchoa não escondeu a real situação que se encontra o sistema carcerário, não só do Maranhão, mas de todo o Brasil. Ele reforçou que trabalhos serão realizados para que problemas vividos hoje sejam amenizados ou até solucionados. “Existe muito trabalho pela frente, vamos buscar prevenir os problemas. Temos todo apoio do Governo do Estado para realização de um bom trabalho”, enfatizou o secretário.
Seria providencial que Uchoa chame um bando de Agentes Penitenciários pilantroes que estão a disposição de outros picaretas, ocasionando esse caos no sistema penitenciário.
